Mizuno Val Nolasco 1/2 Marathon

Mark Speck and Canadian Karen Thibodeau took overall honors.

Honolulu, November 20, 2011.

With over 1,000 runners completing the final race in the 808 Marathon Readiness Series the race was a great success, and provided good training and practice for the many runners participating in the Honolulu Marathon three weeks away.

In the men’s race Mark Speck, Honolulu, took the top honors ahead of Mark Mench and Tai Blechta. On the women’s side Canadian runner Karen Thibodeau won ahead of Brigitte MacNaughton Egbert and Rachel Ross.
